UOI: Students were divided into groups and brainstormed food, clothing and weather related to each season through Mind map strategy. They created a mind map (illustration) on each season and presented it to their peers. Later they were shown an online presentation which was followed by a discussion. Provocation of a water cycle was conducted. A piece of cloth was dipped in water and students were made to feel the wet cloth. It was then put for drying in the sun and students went back after an hour to see the difference. This was followed by the facilitator asking them questions like ‘How did the cloth become dry? Where has the water gone?, Why do we need water? and what will happen if water is not available? Students were then shown an experiment on water cycle. English: Students used objects to weave a story around them. One group was given an object to weave and illustrate a story, while the other group picked up an object from a mixed pool and presented a story. Students were also given objects of their choice to present their stories. Students attempted dictation of blends. For improving on their listening skills, students heard online audio tracks and thereafter answered questions asked by the facilitator. Students enjoyed playing online games on sentence formation and blends. Math: Students strengthened their understanding of the differences in heights by marking and measuring their height on a chart paper. To introduce ‘measurement of weight’, students lifted an empty and a full bag and a bottle. Subsequently they discussed the difference in what they experienced. Students were shown an online presentation to understand the need to have standard units of measurement and what these units of length meant - cm, metre and kilometre. Exploring the use of a ruler, students explored how to use a ruler individually and measure different objects. Later students attempted a task sheet in their process journals. Hindi: Students practiced writing vyanjan ‘dha’ in their process journals and used illustrations to depict the learnt vocabulary. Students attempted a summative assessment of two/three and ‘aa’ maatra words using flash cards. ICT: Students were briefed about username and login in. They learnt how to login into the laptop with the password and most of them did so successfully. PE: Students were introduced to Yoga and they practiced basic asanas like the tree posture, child posture and the butterfly posture. Music: Students were provoked to name instruments starting with some particular sounds and alphabets and then were initiated into learning names of the instruments according to the alphabets. They learned the sargam song "SA GA SA GA" and some of them attempted to sing it individually on the mike. They also heard the song "Summer Holidays" by Cliff Richard. Dance: Student are learning a combination of elementary level (Jazz, Blade) hands and (First and second Parallel) feet positions with different type of music during their dance routine. Art: Students continued to learn Portrait making. They made a Portrait of a friend sitting opposite to them. The art medium used was pencil colours.
