UOI: Students revisited the concept of different types of pollution and their effects on human beings through an audio-visual presentation followed by a discussion. Students attempted a formative assessment on their understanding of the effects of pollution and our responsibility towards protecting our environment. English: Students were introduced to fixed phonograms ‘ch’ and ‘tr’. They brainstormed the related words and later illustrated and wrote them in their process journals. Students presented their Take & Talk on ‘Addition and subtraction story’ with excitement and confidence. They attempted a bingo on word blends. Students enhanced their comprehension skills while attempting a task sheet. Math: Students recapitulated the concept of Tens and Ones through various games and manipulatives. They also practiced 3D shapes using an online game. Later they attempted a summative assessment on 3D shapes where they formed a bar graph with the given 3D objects. Hindi: Students were introduced to vyanjan ‘ta’ through a video. They understood its formation by writing on the slate and sand tracing. Later they also practiced writing it in their process journals. They were introduced to two letter rhyming words (Milte-julte shabd) which they also practiced writing in their journals. Students also enjoyed reciting the rhyme ‘Jhilmil karte taare’. ICT: Students were given options to make a choice of their devices for use. Most of them preferred to explore their favourite educational app on the iPad, thus learning to be independent to choose and swipe. Few students took to the laptop and had fun exploring various educational apps which helped them to progress well with their mouse movement and skills. PE: Students practiced stance during basketball practice and attempted to hold on to a throw. They also practiced dribbling the basketball. Music: Students were introduced to 'Arpeggio'. They have started practicing the scales along with Metronome to keep steady beats. They also learnt the song "Raindrops on roses" and revised some of the previous songs. Dance: Students tried a combination of basic hands and feet positions with different type of music. Techniques of Dancing Statues helped them to work on their coordination. Art: Students painted the card board box and assembled recycled bottles on the box to create their installation.
